Darlington, Leeds, and Edinburgh rehoming centres have over 80 dogs in search of their families and this is just a small selection of those on offer.
Take a look and see if you can open your heart and home to a furry friend.

5. Clyde (Patterdale Terrier)
Clyde is a lovely lad who is very typical of his breed. He could share his home with another dog pending a successful introduction and if he is the only dog in the home will enjoy having walking buddies while out and about. He could live with secondary school aged children and will need to have people around for him to help him settle in and build up any leaving hours. | Dogs Trust Darlington

6. Barry (Labrador Retriever)
Barry is a handsome Retriever who is almost one-year-old. He's an energetic lad who'll need active adopters who'll keep up with him! He won't suit young children due to his size and bounciness, but high school aged kids who are confident around bigger dogs should be fine. He won't be able to share with Cats but he does loves other dogs so having another doggy companion should fine as long as they get on. | Dogs Trust Leeds

7. Buttons (Patterdale Terrier)
Meet Buttons! He’s only one-year-old and was found as a stray but has tons of potential. He’ll need his new family to be true Terrier-people as he’s full of the usual breed traits like high energy, chase instinct, and the need to be kept busy. He needs to work on his doggy socialising so for now must be the only pet in his home. | Dogs Trust Leeds

8. Stella (Rottweiler)
Stella is a gorgeous one-year-old Rottweiler who was found recently as a stray. Although we don't know anything about her history, she's shown herself to be a very loving young dog. She is very nervous of new people and will need some confidence building but she's coming along well. To give her the best chance of settling she'll need to be the only pet in an adult only home. | Dogs Trust Leeds
