13. Derek (Tibetan Mastiff, one year)
Derek is a big friendly 1yr old Tibetan Mastiff who seems to love everyone! He arrived in a very bad condition, but he’s bounced back and following a good groom he’s now ready to find his forever home. Derek is blind but this doesn’t hold him back one bit! He’ll be fine to live with very confident secondary school aged kids who are good around very large, playful dogs. He could also share his home with another dog of similar size/breed. A secure garden is a must, so he has somewhere to safely play off-lead and practice his housetraining. Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
Bud is affectionate once he gets to know you and enjoys snuggling on the sofa. He also loves his toys, although he does sometimes destroy them and eat the stuffing, so needs to be watched! Bud needs patient and understanding owners but we know that in the right home, he will be a fantastic companion! Bud is currently living off site in a foster home where he is getting all the love and attention he deserves. Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
15. Rupert (Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross, two years)
Rupert is looking for a loving home with owners who are around whilst he settles into a new routine. He travels well in the car and he would like new owners who can continue his training through positive reinforcement and continue to keep him well socialised. He would benefit from a secure garden so that he can enjoy time off lead. Rupert can live with children aged 14 years over providing they are confident with excitable dogs. He would be suited as the only dog in the home to allow him the time and commitment from an adopter to take him to regular training, he can have dog walking pals when outside. Please note Rupert is under the minimum height requirements to be classified as an American Bully XL type. Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
Lola has had a sheltered life so can find the big wide world overwhelming. Giving her time and space for her to come out of her shell you will be rewarded with seeing her playful nature. Chasing a ball is one of her favourite games. Lola is fan of high value treats which is great way to start up a budding friendship and aid her on going training. With patient owners and the right set up, we are sure Lola will thrive and it is going to be such a reward watching her blossom. Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington
