There are so many gorgeous dogs in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 17 of the dogs searching for a loving family and forever home this week.

5. Karma (Italian Corso Dog, two years)
Karma is such a fun girl to be around. Once she knows you, she is full of playfulness and loves her toys! She is super snuggly too so prepare for perfect evenings cuddling on the sofa with her. She is very foody and easy to train due to her top-notch focus, so if you want to do some fun training tricks with her, she’d really enjoy that. If you’re looking for a very sweet, playful, and cuddly dog to spend lots of time with then Karma could be great match for you. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust

6. Monica & Phoebe (Labradors, five years)
Monica and Phoebe are both 5 years old and have such a lovely friendship so we would love to see them go into their home together. Once Phoebe has met you, she is a super affectionate girl and will always seek out her humans for attention and cuddles which helps Monica build relationships with people and gives her the confidence to come over and interact with people. They both enjoy having toys to play with and phoebe will carry one around with her a lot of the time unless her and Monica are receiving tasty treats. Mental enrichment such as Licky mats, snuffle mats etc will be good for both to help build confidence and to give them fun activities at home. Monica and Phoebe are such sweet girls who we cannot wait to see go into their forever homes and receive all the TLC that they deserve! | Dogs Trust Photo: Dogs Trust Darlington

7. Kima (Crossbreed, one year)
Once Kima has built a relationship she is a very sweet and friendly girl. She's already showing progress with her training and we'll happily help you get the best out of her. She loves getting out and about for her walkies so once she's grown in confidence we believe she'll really enjoy exciting days out. She loves other dogs so should be fine to share with another good role model dog who can help show her the ropes. In fact it would really benefit Kima to live with another confident dog. Kima looks set to be a great companion and just needs a little time and patience initially. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

8. Edie (Shar Pei Cross, five years)
Her handlers all adore her due to her zest for life. She loves getting out for walkies or playing with her toys and she's absolutely smashing her training. She really enjoys showing off and you can see her confidence grow each time she learns a new trick. She makes great use of that enormous nose and loves playing scent work games such as tracking and man trailing. She walks really nicely on lead too! She's been for sleep-overs to her handlers home and she was just perfect! Very relaxed, fully housetrained, and happy to just chill out. She'll make someone the most wonderful companion. She just needs plenty of time and patience to get to know her initially. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
