There are so many gorgeous dogs in search of their forever home this week across the North and North East.
Darlington, Cumbria and Leeds rehoming centres are hoping to find lovely homes for their dogs in order to give them the best possible lives.
Here are just 19 of the dogs searching for a forever home.

17. Thomas (Borzoi Cross, six years)
Thomas is around 6 years old, he was found as a stray but has definitely been loved at some point during his life as he settled straight into his wonderful foster home. He will wait at the back door when he is ready to go out, he is fully housetrained, he loves getting cosy on the sofa and having TLC from his foster family. He even sneaks upstairs and spreads his long legs on his mums bed. Thomas has some confirmation issues and is currently on medication which ensures he is comfortable and enjoying life. These are a small monthly cost but please do not be put off by this and if you are still interested we can discuss the cost of this. He walks beautifully on lead and travels well in the car. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds

18. Spot (Border Collie, one year)
Spot is an 18month collie who has not become the sheep dog his family hoped for and would be better suited as an active companion in a home environment. He has mixed with other dogs out on walks and is a sociable boy who would benefit from someone interested in regular training to help him become a wonderful pet. He will need someone around throughout the day whilst he settles into a new home and routine. He can live with children aged 12 years plus and a neutered female dog who would be comfortable with a young bouncy boy. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria

19. Chester (Rottweiler, two years)
Chester is an adorable 2 year old Rottie x Collie who is currently looking for his forever home. He is a sensitive boy who was found as a stray. He can be shy around being touched, but his affectionate and playful side has started to shine through since making friends at the centre. Because of his nature, Chester is looking for a calm adult home in a quiet location where he can peacefully settle in. He is hoping for his owners to be around most of the time to build a strong relationship. A secure garden is a must for him play in and practice his housetraining. | DT Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
