Dogs Trust Darlington currently have 52 gorgeous dogs and puppies up for adoption.
The North East centre is looking for lovely people to care and provide the adorable creatures with a second chance and loving home.
Here are the nine adorable pups searching for a forever home.

5. Sky (Maltese)
Sky is a lovely 10 year old boy who is still full of life and enjoys having a little potter to meet new people and exploring different places. He will enjoy finding comfy spots to snuggle up and chill out in while at home. Sky is a sweet little lad that is looking forward to finding a home to cosy up in. (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust

6. Zena (Bulldog Cross)
Zena is a loving girl who is going to make a great pupil for training. She already knows a number of tricks and would enjoy learning a few more. Her love of food will make for a great reward and aid her on going training. Having a game of tug and exploring with her nose are some of her favourite ways to spend her days. Zena is going to be a fabulous addition to the family! (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust

7. Mac (Crossbreed)
Mac is a beautiful boy, both inside and out who loves nothing more than spending time with his carers who all adore him. He is a clean boy and not destructive in his kennel. He knows a few tricks and will enjoy learning more in the home - especially if toys are on offer as he does love to play with them. His character really shines through the more that you get to know him. He loves nothing more than a good run in a secure field, playing with his toys and then a snuggle on the sofa with his favourite carers. With patient, kind owners who will allow him the time to acclimatise himself to his new life at his own speed, he will be a pleasure. The staff here all love him, could you fall under the spell of Magic Mac! (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust

8. Arnie (Caucasian Shepherd Dog Cross)
Arnie has hip dysplasia - he has a physiotherapy plan that can be carried out at home and he will require ongoing medication which our vet team will be happy to discuss with potential adopters. This doesn’t slow Arnie down though, as he is always up for a bit of an adventure. Arnie is a big, energetic boy with a big personality who really is excited to meet everyone. He is completely unaware of his size and still thinks he’s a teeny, tiny puppy dog. Arnie really is just a loveable goofball who can’t wait to meet his new family! (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
