Dogs Trust Darlington currently have 49 gorgeous dogs and puppies up for adoption.
The North East centre is looking for lovely people to care and provide the adorable creatures with a second chance and loving home.
Here are the nine adorable pups searching for a forever home.

5. Tequila (Crossbreed, under six months)
It is recommended that Tequila will need routine serological and blood tests every 6 to 12 months. This will be a life long treatment for Tequila but our vet team are happy to chat with adopters of Tequila and hope that his medical side doesn’t put people off applying for this fun little chap (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust

6. Pumpkin (Shar Pei Cross, under six months)
Pumpkin and his friend are looking for their individual forever homes. They haven’t seen a lot of the outside world so some things can seem a little scary to them . They are settling in well with us and we love watching them have their boisterous moments and seeing their confidence grow. They will need all the usual puppy training including house training and lots of positive socialisation with new things and people. They are not yet fully vaccinated so will require a secure private garden and any existing dogs in the home will need to be fully vaccinated. Children above the age of 8 years would be suitable to live with Pumpkin and his friend (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust

7. Sasha (Staffie, under six months)
Sasha hasn’t experienced a lot of the real world and should be allowed the time to adjust to every day life. She’s a little bundle of fun and has showed of her affectionate side to us all here at the centre. We have yet to see her play with toys but she does love her food so games that involve a treat or two would be a great way to introduce play time. Her love of food will also be great for her on going training. We are sure Sasha will thrive with a family who are up for plenty of training and have the time to support and dedicate to her. 8. Rex (Lurcher, over eight years)
Rex is a super sweet lad who loves being in your company. He’s shown a little bit of interest in toys but would much rather be with you. He’s a lovely golden oldie who is going to make a lovely companion for somebody. (Credit: Dogs Trust) | Dogs Trust
