5. Tillie (Whippet Cross, 10 years)
Tillie is very used to home comforts and would like a home that would offer her the same freedom as she has always had, including couch cuddling and that offers her her favourite thing - "Under blankets". Tilly is fully housetrained and good with other dogs, but we would like to find her a home as the only dog as this is what she is used to. We believe Tillie could be rehomed with children 12 years and older. Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
Mac is a sweetheart who has been slowly building his confidence since coming into us and has now been enjoying going for little potters on lead. He enjoys meeting other dogs while out on his walks and will love to have some doggy walking pals. Mac really enjoys his treats and is a foodie boy so this will help with his ongoing training and confidence building. He also enjoys playing with toys and this helps bring out his playful side. Mildred is looking for a home as the only dog so that she can bond with her new owners and continue to go for walks with other dogs to continue her socialisation. She is an active breed so will require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She can live with dog savvy children aged 14 years plus and not suitable to live with cats. Mildred would benefit from someone home majority of the day whilst she settles in. A home with a garden would be beneficial but not essential to allow her time off lead and for regular toilet breaks as she has been in kennels and will need to adjust to a new home with a new routine. If you feel you may have a forever home for Mildred or a similar dog please apply below. Photo: Dogs Trust Cumbria
Toffee has been waiting to find his special someone for a while now and in that time he’s become a firm favourite of the staff. This is due to his fun-loving nature and zest for life! In true Hound style he does have a voice and likes to use it, but a true Hound lover will be used to this! He enjoys learning new things, so once he's built a good relationship you'll find him to be a fun and interactive lad. He is super affectionate and loves a good bum scratch! He also gives the BEST bear hugs! Photo: Dogs Trust Leeds
