Easter Eggs from the Wrap for Jak have been a ‘tonic’ for our South Shields care home residents
Residents at a South Shields care home have benefited from an Easter Egg donation.
Harton Grange Care Home, on Boldon Lane, in South Shields were among those to receive eggs from the Wrap for Jak Easter campaign.
The Wrap for Jak managed to collect more than 2,100 Easter Eggs in memory of Jak Fada and Anna Bradley, with 1,000 of them going to children’s hospital wards across the North East.

Tony Fada launched the annual Wrap for Jak Christmas event after his 10-year-old son, Jak Fada, died from a ruptured heart artery on November 6, 2017.
The donation to Harton Grange meant that every resident and staff member received an Easter Egg.
Judith Tully, the General Manager at Harton Grange, commented: “We are so touched to receive the Easter eggs, they are a real tonic for our residents – it was very kind of WrapforJak to think of us.
“It was lovely to connect with them again and see some familiar faces on both sides.”
