EU referendum: South Tyneside among top 10 eurosceptic areas in the country

A poll by YouGov has revealed the borough comes in at number eight with its unfavourable views of staying in the European Union (EU) ahead of Britain’s referendum on June 23.
The website states that ‘euroscepticism of various areas partly correlates with lower income, but euroscepticism also has strongholds in the more wealthy, Tory shires’.
