Extra toilets are needed
Judging by the number of people present, I would say that the first Jarrow Sunday market was a great success.
Toilet arrangements, however, were abysmal.
Three ladies toilets in Morrisons, two of which were not flushing and the third was awash with water (or worse) and soggy toilet tissue – this to serve all of these people.
It is the norm for these conditions but, surely, on such a day other arrangements should have been made.
When will the council provide Jarrow with adequate toilet facilities rather than spending allour council tax at South Shields?
