Artist impressions of how the Bradley Lowery Foundation holiday home in Scarborough could look. Plans for a charity holiday home where families with sick children will be able to make memories have been given the go-ahead.
The holiday home will be a touch of luxury for sick children and their loved ones.Scarborough Borough Council approved a long lease for a parcel of land to the Bradley Lowery Foundation.Scarborough holds special memories for Bradley and his family.The Foundation wants the holiday home to support other families.Gemma Lowery wants to help other families with sick children to create special memories.Bradley lost his life in July 2017 after fighting neuroblastoma cancer.The property will also include a large family room and kitchen.The house has been designed Building Design Northern Ltd.The home will be situated in what was the grounds of Scalby Manor.Bradley House will have five bedrooms.There will also be a games room to keep visitors to the home entertained.The holiday home will have a sauna and steam room, a gym and an external barbecue terrace.It will be a beautiful haven surrounded by wildlife.The Foundation wanted the house to be light, spacious and airy.The charity wanted the facility to be "uplifting, aspirational and life-affirming".The house has been designed to promote family interaction.The home will make such a difference to poorly children and their families.
