Garden shed flung through the air as Storm Gertrude grips the borough
A metal shed flung into the air by heavy winds blew over a garden at a home in Linkway, Jarrow, and hurtled into a vehicle in the car park at Hedworth Primary School in Jarrow this morning.
One crew from Hebburn fire station turned out at 11am to dismantle the shed - and ensure it could not cause any further damage.
