Happy stickers spreading positive messages around South Shields
Life can feel pretty gloomy sometimes, especially with this awful weather.
But positive thinkers out there are trying to spread happiness in South Shields by sticking uplifting messages around the town.
The stickers, which say things like ‘Stay strong and smile’ and ‘Let your smile change the world. Don’t let the world change your smile’, were spotted by a reader, who said: “I was having a bit of a bad day when I spotted these, and they did make me smile.
“There’s always so much negativity everywhere you look so seeing these really brightened up my day.
“It’s so nice that people are taking time to do this and I hope they bring a smile to everyone else who sees them.
“I think I’ll make some myself.”
Some of the stickers, which also say things like ‘Make someone smile today! Bring some light in their world!’ include the hashtag, #soniasays, encouraging people to share the messages on Twitter.
A search on the social networking site reveals other messages people have found, like ‘You are loved!’
