Heating problems send pupils home from South Shields primary school
Pupils at a primary school in South Shields were given the afternoon off because of issues with the heating.
The youngsters at Harton Primary School, on East Avenue, were sent home at around lunchtime today because there was no heating.
The school has confirmed that the heating has now been fixed and pupils will be back at school as normal tomorrow.
