It wasn't an emergency on Friday, June 10, in Whitburn, but, really, can strangers be so kind?

It wasn’t an emergency while cycling, I probably winded myself that’s all.

It wasn’t an emergency just the kids forgot some things once more.

It wasn’t an emergency but the bike and myself said ‘good bye’ at some time.

It was actually like TV, that’s it , just TV, change the channel in a minute and all will be fine.

Now on the Tarmac through my helmet I hear: ‘Ambulance, please, ambulance’ but who is it for?

My back is supported with something rolled up, my head is supported by something so soft.

It was an emergency in Whitburn and total strangers answered the call.

I just have lots of bruises, and I am very relieved – thank you
