Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have shone for Leicester but who else should Sunderland be wary of?

Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have been Leicester's star performers but there have been several other players who have produced some of their best football this campaign.

The Foxes travel to the Stadium of Light this weekend in search of their fifth straight win against a Sunderland side who are battling at the other end of the table.

We take a look at some of the Leicester players to watch out for:

N'Golo Kante:

The Frenchman has thrived in his first season in English football.

Kante's outstanding performances have seen the latter linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium with Chelsea rumoured to be interested.

The former Boulogne man has showed his ability to get around the pitch, offering good protection to his back four and often dominates the midfield with his physical presence.

Sunderland's Lee Cattermole will have a job on his hands to keep Kante quiet, a player who has been a key figure in Leicester's title charge all season.

Robert Huth:

The former Stoke City defender has also impressed and has contributed three goals to his sides' total of 55.

Huth, like the majority of the Leicester side, has been consistent and has been a leader alongside captain Wes Morgan.

The 31-year-old has featured in 30 games for the Foxes this campaign and has arguably played his best football to date.

Sunderland continue to play the one up top in Jermain Defoe and with the long ball suited to Huth's style of play, the North East side may need to adopt a fresh approach so Huth doesn't dominate in the air.

Danny Drinkwater:

England came calling and Drinkwater delivered.

The midfielder showed he was able to perform on the international stage with a man-of-the-match display against the Netherlands.

Drinkwater likes to be on the ball, creating as many chances as possible for the clinical Vardy and Mahrez.

The Manchester-born midfielder will be determined to prove his old club Manchester United wrong by winning the title itself, in what will be a first top flight title in Leicester's history.

Marc Albrighton:

The winger has come to life this season with good, energetic performances and has proved to be a nightmare for defenders.

The former Aston Villa man isn't afraid to run with the ball so both DeAndre Yedlin and Patrick van Aanholt will have to be at their best to keep him quiet.
