Jesus Gamez STARTS against Reading, Dwight Gayle on bench

Jesus Gamez has been handed only his second Championship start for Newcastle United tonight.

The Championship leaders take on Jaap Stam's fifth-placed side at the Madejski Stadium (8pm kick-off).

Ayoze Perez and Yoan Gouffran also come into Rafa Benitez's side for the game against Reading.

And Dwight Gayle is again among the substitutes, with Daryl Murphy keeping his place up front.
