Join trip to the Somme
This year marks the Centenary of the Battles of the Somme and Verdun in the First World War. There were over a million casualties '“ many from the Pals Battalions of the North of England.
Between September 22 and 27, I will be leading a coach party from the North of England to the Somme and Verdun. There will be an opportunity to visit a relative’s grave as well as see important areas of the battlefields.
There are a few places left. If anyone would like more details, contact me on 01368 866826, 07710 270640 or by email on johndavidrawgmail.com. You can also write to me at 5, Fellside Terrace, Knock, Appleby-in-Westmorland,
