Karl Darlow and Chancel Mbemba have been recalled for Newcastle United's visit to The Hawthorns.

Rafa Benitez's side take on managerless West Bromwich Albion tonight (8pm kick-off).

Benitez has made five changes for the game after four successive Premier League defeats.

United's manager has also recalled Isaac Hayden, Ayoze Perez and Mikel Merino to his starting XI.

Jonjo Shelvey, Rob Elliot, Javier Manquillo, Mohamed Diame and Dwight Gayle drop down to the bench.

Darlow will make his first league start of the season against West Brom.

The goalkeeper made his league debut in the club's last visit to The Hawthorns in the 2015-16 season.
