Legendary comedian set to make a one-night only appearance in South Shields

A legendary comedian is making a rare appearance in South Shields.

Mick Miller is set to bring a rare show to South Shields next February fresh from his star turn on this year’s Royal Variety Performance, which is set for ITV broadcast this December.

The show will be held at Hedworth Hall, on Dean Road, on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

The 75-year-old comedian has a strong connection to South Tyneside as he worked via the offices of the Bailey’s Organisation, which was headed up by Cleadon born Stan Henry in the 1970s.
