The Dolly Peel, on Commercial Road, held a 12-hour darts marathon on Saturday, August 2, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Staff and regulars at the South Shields pub had aimed to raise £500 but instead managed to collect more than £2,000 for the cancer charity.
Around 30 people took part in the event, with some playing darts from 9am until 9pm.
