Metro delays after report of trespasser on line
There are delays on the Metro between South Shields and Newcastle tonight.
A man was reportedly sitting on the lines at Tynemouth, meaning trains were unable to run in either direction on the South Shields/St James line.
The incident has now been cleared but there are still delays to services.
