Motorists warned of possible delays at the Tyne Tunnel

The operators of the tunnel, TT2, have confirmed they are currently dealing with a broken down vehicle.

They said: "We have a breakdown in lane two northbound, TT2 staff in attendance. Thanks for your patience."
