Must build bridges
So after Donald Trump's dramatic triumph we now know it won't be Hilary Clinton who gets to re-arrange the drapes at the White House.
Anyway was it not Pope Francis who once said “a person who thinks about building walls (to keep Mexican migrants out) and not build bridges is not Christian”?
On the other hand it may be a good thing President Trump wants to build bridges with Russian president Vladimir Putin to better the relationship twixt the US and Russia, not to mention his ambitious plan to rebuild the US infrastructure that will provide much-needed work for millions.
By the way Pope Francis now “wishes the new president well, that he may have a truly fruitful government.”
Amen to that.
