National Doodle Day: Will you bid in charity scribbles auction?

National Doodle Day takes place on Friday - and in aid of Epilepsy Action, a number of scribbles by famous faces will go under the hammer.

If you fancy taking home a celebrity's artwork, you can bid in the three-day eBay auction, which starts on Friday and ends on Sunday. All proceeds will go to the charity.

Greg Wise, who was born in Newcastle upon Tyne and starred in Sense and Sensibility and Johnny English, has contributed a drawing for the event, with Olivia Colman, Bill Nighy and Frank Skinner also taking part.

Holly Rawling, resident doodler at Epilepsy Action, said: “Every year we are overwhelmed with doodle-tastic support from celebrities, and always look forward to seeing them all flooding in. National Doodle Day gives everyone a chance to get their hands on an original piece of art by their favourite celebrities.

"It also raises incredibly valuable funds for people affected by epilepsy all over the UK.”

The charity is also encouraging people to "do a doodle, and donate" on Friday to help the cause along.
