It has been a busy couple of weeks for the courts.
These are nine of the people jailed or given suspended sentences for offences in or around South Tyneside during the final days of May and into June.
They all appeared at Newcastle Crown Court unless otherwise stated.
9. Adam Oakley
Adam Oakley, 39, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin and conspiracy to supply cocaine and was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment. He is one of 14 people imprisoned as part of a large scale drug investigation. | Northumbria Police
