The World Health Organization recommends ‘a minimum’ of one metre for social distancing to slow the transmission of coronavirus.

There are increased calls for the Government to decrease the rule.

Richard Chad Hobson: “I’ve always stuck to the two-metre rule, but for things to progress in the leisure area we need to reduce to one metre. Remember, face coverings and masks are massively relevant.”
