Panto shows are not funny
As the festive season is almost upon us I feel that I must complain regarding the Pantomime. Being above average intelligence I really do not understand how adults and older children can laugh at such childish humour and men dressed as a horse or a cow.
Surely even a five year old can recognise that under the poor disguise is a human.
Then we have all this business of the actors shouting out “He’s Behind You”. What’s funny about that? I’m all for a bit of fun but children will learn nothing from this nonsense.
Kids these days would be better off reading The Look And Learn Annual than watching a Pantomime.
