Durham Constabulary asked for help to find Norman Haswell, who is from the Great Lumley area, after he was last seen leaving a number 4 Go North East service at Heworth bus station in Gateshead yesterday morning, Tuesday, October 27.
The force, which had said it was becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare, has now said he has been found safe and well near to the bus station.
