We have already been celebrating the animals in your lives as part of the month-long initiative to promote responsible pet ownership and the benefits of having a pet at home.
And today presented the perfect opportunity to share more of your precious photographs showing the escapades and adventures of your four-legged friends – plus some with feathers and even one with a shell.
Thank you to everyone who shared a pet story and picture with us.
