In line with government guidelines, Angie has been leaving the eggs on the doorstep and has avoided any contact with the children, maintaining the required two metres of social distance at all times.

Angie took time out from delivering much-need isolation packs and essential items to those who are most at risk from the virus, or who can’t leave the house as they are self-isolating.

With co-founder Jo Durkin and a team of volunteers she has helped hundreds of people since the UK went into lockdown on Monday, March 23.

As well as isolation packs they have delivered 120 packed lunches every day to children and families who have been hit the hardest by school closures.

“The kids are all stuck at home so I just wanted to put a smile on their faces,” said Angie.
