Harry Potter fans' dream job as Alnwick Castle recruiting a Wizarding Professor
They will bring their magical skills to the castle to support the delivery of broomstick training, helping to train the next generation of young wizards and witches.
Responsibilities include leading flying lessons for beginners, teaching witch pottery classes and championing the study of non-wizards to learn more about how they live.
The role requires no specialist qualifications, although an in-depth knowledge of magic with demonstrable skills is essential. O.W.L and N.E.W.T qualifications are preferred but not essential.
The successful candidate will be authoritative yet approachable, with a good reputation in the magic world and competent broomstick flying skills.

Dedicated fans will likely recognise Alnwick Castle from the silver screen. The castle featured in both Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, as well as Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Harry and co. actually learnt to fly broomsticks with Madam Hooch within the castle’s Outer Bailey.
This role is available between March and October.
