While all of the money from the badges will go to the Royal British Legion, SSFC are set to match however much is raised and donate the same amount to veteran’s charity Help for Heroes.
The poppy pins will be on sale from Saturday’s game until Remembrance Day, but are expected to sell out fast.
“It’s the first time we have done this, but it’s something the club wanted to get involved with. You see it a lot at a professional level and we wanted to do our bit for the charities and raise awareness,” said a spokesperson for the Club.

“The club isn’t making any profit, we’re just going to match the donation so both charities benefit.”
“We expect to sell them out, so hopefully we will raise a lot of money for both charities.”
