The clothing range, inspired by South Shields was launched in October 2019 by local designer Andy Campbell, who has over three decades of experience in the industry.
Its T-shirts, sweatshirts and canvas tote bags all feature the well-known colloquialism Sanddancer – used to describe those who hail from the seaside town.

“That match was one of the biggest games in the calendar,” said Andy, who hoped to use the brand to promote the area.
“It’s lovely to see Jade wearing one of our sweatshirts, she’s a true local lass and it’s great to get the brand out there. It’s good for South Shields and the whole region, it all works hand in hand.”
The brand has taken off since it hit the shops and has recently partnered with South Shields Surf School as it launches the new spring range.
“I have had some unbelievable support,” Andy added.
