Hundreds of local residents, and local servicemen and women gathered across South Tyneside to pay tribute to the nation's war heroes at a number of Remembrance services this weekend. Services and parades held on Sunday, November 10 to mark Remembrance Sunday where civic dignitaries, veterans and their families and uniformed organisations joined members of the community gathered for silent reflection to honour past and present servicemen and women.
