Pictures show mourners lining streets to bid farewell to South Shields nurse Keith Dunnington and parents Maurice and Lillian

South Shields turned out in style to pay tribute to a nurse and his parents who all died after contacting coronavirus.

Keith Dunnington, who worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead as a staff nurse, was 54 when he died in April.

Mum Lillian, 81, and dad Maurice, 85, both passed away in hospital days apart after also contracting Covid-19.
