South Shields comedy couple Chris and Rosie Ramsey announce they're expecting a second child

Rosie, who hosts the award-winning Sh***ed. Married. Annoyed podcast with her comedian husband, shared a family photo of the couple, with their four-year-old son Robin clutching a photo of the ultrasound scan on her Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Alongside it she wrote the caption: “’4pm wine time BABY’ coming January 2021.”

The news was met with thousands of messages of congratulations from their army of supporters and celebrities such as Jason Manford, Stacey Solomon and presenter and previous Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba.

It comes after Rosie opened up about her miscarriage on Instagram two years ago.

At the time she wrote: "I know it is going to take time to come to terms with all of this, I feel emotionally and physically exhausted.

"I have so much sympathy for other couples who have/are going through this as I never knew it entailed so much heartache.

"Robin has been wonderful through it all and we feel so blessed to have him in our lives."

She also spoke about the experience on fellow North East celebrity Vicky Pattison’s The Secret To podcast, in which she revealed it was one of the worst things that had ever happened to her.

Later on Friday night, Chris took to his own Twitter account to thank everyone for their messages of support and said the couple were ‘over the moon’ that Robin was going to be a big brother.

He said: “The love coming in here is unreal guys. Thank you so much. We are over the moon and so excited to see Robin as a big brother!

Thanks again. It means a lot.”

It’s a little bit of cheer after it was confirmed earlier this week that their upcoming Sh***ed. Married. Annoyed tour has been postponed until 2021.

The nationwide run, which was due to take place later this year includes two sell-out shows at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle.
