South Shields residents praise Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall for expanding her bar with new nightclub

A date has been set for the launch of a new night club in South Shields next door to Arbeia, Jade Thirlwall’s bar, and residents have praised her for trying to improve the town’s nightlife.

Red Door, on Ocean Road, opened at the beginning of November 2019 but just a week into February 2020, it was announced that it has changed its name to Arbeia – the Roman name for South Shields.

Along with the name change, it was revealed that the bar will be revising their drinks menu and prices.

After the bar sign was changed, a new sign was installed as an announcement came that a new nightclub will arrive next door.

After hearing the news, South Shields residents have flocked in support of Jade’s plans to improve the nightlife on Ocean Road.
