Neighbours in Prince Edward Road, South Shields, landed a £1,000 windfall each when NE34 7BQ was announced as a People’s Postcode Lottery Daily Prize winner on Monday, May 18.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: “I’m delighted for all of our winners today in South Shields.

The latest draw was promoted by ActionAid, which has received more than £8.4 million in funding from the lottery to change the lives of disadvantaged women and children all over the world.
