TV producers looking for South Tyneside's 'worst singers' to take part in 'Anyone Can Sing!' series

Sky Arts series 'Anyone Can Sing!’ is looking for the worst singers you know to receive expert vocal training with the English National Opera.

Producers are encouraging potential contestants to come forward and see how much they can improve.

A spokesperson said: “Working with some of the best voice coaches in the world, we’re going to do something amazing and transform your voice - from screeching in the shower to singing opera in just three months.

“Perhaps you’ve always wanted to sing, but never thought you could, or there’s someone special you want to surprise with a sweet serenade.

"Maybe you’re looking for a new challenge, or there’s someone you know who’s in need of a confidence boost? Whatever the reason, we can make it happen.”
