Picture special: Memorable night at Mariners Park as South Shields FC celebrate promotion

There have been plenty of nights to remember in the South Shields FC camp.

And Tuesday was certainly one of those as the club secured its third successive promotion with a 3-0 home win.

South Shields’ fate was sealed in front of more than 1,400 with a tremendous result against Glossop North End.

There was definitely reason to celebrate at Mariners Park - and Gazette reader Steve Mcgrath caught some of the aftermath on camera.

You were toasting the team, snapping selfies and waving your scarves with pride.

Flick through our picture gallery above and see if you’re pictured.

Thanks to Steve Mcgrath for sharing the pictures with us.
