Police investigating purse theft in Jarrow
Police investigating after items were stolen from a purse in South Tyneside have released an image of a woman they would like to speak to.

The theft happened in Peacocks in Bede Precinct in Jarrow.
Items from an elderly woman's purse were stolen.
Officers are keen to identify the woman pictured as it's thought she was in the store at the time and may have information that can help with their enquiries.
The woman, or anyone who recognises, her is asked to contact Northumbria Police on 101 quoting reference 859 011016.
