Police warn motorists not to leave goods on show.

The warning comes after cars have been broken into after items had been left on display.

Police are urging people to remove all valuables out of view when they leave their vehicle, in particular overnight.

Officers are also advising motorists to double check the vehicle is locked when they leave it.
