Drivers warned of new 20mph zone in East Boldon

Drivers are being warned of a new 20mph zone in a neighbourhood.

South Tyneside Council has introduced the new speed restrictions this week in East Boldon.

The roads effected are Grange Terrace, North Lane, Back North Rd and a 180 metre stretch of North Road.

Full details of the order – made under the terms of the Road Traffic Act – can be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at South Shields

Most Popular

Town Hall, Westoe Road, South Shields, and a copy can be requested by emailing [email protected].

Anyone wishing to contest the order may make an application the High Court by April 29.
