Premier League club linked with summer move for Newcastle's Rafa Benitez
Leicester City have been linked with a move for Rafa Benitez.
Claude Puel's future at the King Power Stadium is in doubt following yesterday's 5-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.
And the Daily Star claims that Benitez is a target for Leicester, where there is reportedly dressing room unrest.
Benitez, under contract at St James's Park for another year, will discuss his Newcastle future with owner Mike Ashley at the end of the season.
However, the 58-year-old's representatives have held preliminary discussions with managing director Lee Charnley.
Benitez – who wants to compete for trophies – wants to know if Ashley's ambitions match his own.
Newcastle, 10th in the Premier League with three games left to play, were beaten 1-0 at St James's Park by West Bromwich Albion yesterday.
