Rolando Aarons is closing in on a comeback at Newcastle United '“ just FOUR months after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.
The winger has returned to full training at the Championship club.
United manager Rafa Benitez said: “Usually, you expect from a cruciate-ligament injury for it to be six to eight months, but for Rolando, after four months, is now doing full training sessions with the team.
“We’re really pleased, but we will not rush because we don’t need to. We don’t want to take the risk.”
