Rafa Benitez gives injury update on Newcastle's Mohamed Diame

On-loan striker Islam Slimani is not eligible to play against Leicester City, his parent club, tomorrow.

However, midfielder Mohamed Diame has recovered from the injury which forced him off against Huddersfield Town last weekend.

And striker Joselu is also back on the training field after a week on the sidelines.

Asked about injuries, United manager Benitez said: "We're fine. We don't have any problems.

"Slimani cannot play, but Joselu has recovered and is nearly fully fit. Diame has been training."

Newcastle are 12th in the Premier League with seven games left to play.
