Benitez's side was convincingly beaten 4-0 by Braga last night after a late capitulation.

The defeat underlined the need for more reinforcements, but Benitez "doesn't know" if there will be any more arrivals before the August 9 transfer deadline.

Asked by the Gazette if he was concerned, Benitez said: "I'm really worried. We'll try to change it in the next 10 days, I don't know how.

"We can talk, and be close (to a deal), but after we are not so close. I have no idea."
