The South Tyneside Summer Festival has been attracting crowds of people to Bents Park every summer for many years.
The free festival is a hugely popular event with the people of South Shields and in surrounding areas, due to the amazing acts booked to perform right on our doorstep.
Last year’s festival saw the likes of Ella Henderson, Will Young, Kelly Llorenna, Phats and Small and many more take to the stage to an excited crowd.

5. B*Witched
Irish girl group B*Witched performed at the Bents Park in 2014, singing their biggest hits such as C’est La Vie, Blame It On The Weatherman and Rollercoaster.
6. UB40
English reggae and pop band UB40 arrived in 2016 at Bents Park to perform their huge tracks such as Red Red Wine.
7. Busted
Busted had the crowd on their feet in 2017 when they performed an incredibly impressive set to the Bents Park crowd consisting of their biggest hits such as Year 3000, Air Hostess and Crashed The Wedding.
8. Gabrielle
Dreams and Out of Reach singer Gabrielle performed a mellow R&B set at Bents Park in 2019.
