REVIEW: Frank Turner - Ten For Ten
A seven-LP set, it included The First, Second and Third Three Years compilations, and this disc gathered up some choice leftovers.
Now on CD for the first time, it spans the last 10 years of Frank’s career, and comprises a mixture of demos, live and alternative tracks.

Hide AdIt kicks off with Old Flames (featuring Billy The Kid), originally only available as an iTunes pre-order bonus track for his most recent studio album, last year’s Positive Songs for Negative People.
One of the highlights is the largely-acoustic original demo for The Next Storm, one of the key tracks on Positive Songs, and another is the original demo of fan favourite The Ballad of Me and My Friends.
Otherwise, we get live versions of I Am Disappeared, Substitute and Isabel, and Atlanta Curse (a version of England Keep My Bones highlight English Curse), which seems to have been recorded in the street, with fans joining in.
It’s probably for fans only, rather than a release likely to win any new followers, but a must-have purchase for anyone who couldn’t afford or missed out on the hefty 7LP boxset. 6/10.
